Portrait photography is not natural for me as I find the motion of taking someone’s picture a bit intrusive, even when having their permission. I am probably dealing with my own insecurities here but the reality is that I have been avoiding this type of photography most of the time. However, during the last ten years I have had the privilege to travel to incredible places where I was lucky to meet beautiful and friendly people whom I decided to photograph. I recently realized that it would make sense to create a portfolio with some of these images and give credit to these amazing people.
